The Quality group provides oversight of the contractor to ensure Technical Integrity of the design through review and assessment of processes for:
- Design control / review / verification / validation
- Asset Integrity Management and Asset Integrity Register
- RAM Analysis carried out to identify the weak links and mitigation measures undertaken to support aimed at evaluating critical equipment which may lead to production losses
Quality Assurance Manager
Quality assurance managers play a crucial role in business by ensuring that products meet certain thresholds of acceptability. They plan, direct, or coordinate quality assurance programs and formulate quality control policies. They also work to improve an organization’s efficiency and profitability by reducing waste.
Quality assurance managers supervise teams of inspectors who carry out the detailed assessment of products and their components at different stages of production.
Managers prepare and update quality documentation, basing their processes on a recognized standard such as ISO 9000 – Quality Management. Industry-specific manuals and protocols also apply.
